Sandra Perreand, MBA

Perreand is the executive director of US Government Affairs at bioMérieux. She has 30 years of experience in both the Medical Device and In Vitro Diagnostics Industry. She has, most recently, worked in the regulatory, payment, and IVD healthcare policy areas with a particular focus on FDA IVD regulatory reform and antimicrobial resistance and stewardship.She also has extensive pre and post market regulatory, clinical affairs, and quality systems experience in both industries, including IDE, PMA, 510(k), De Novo submissions, MDR reporting, clinical trials, recalls, advertising, and labeling compliance as well as the European Union Medical Device and IVD Directives. Sandy holds a BS in Chemistry from St. Louis University and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon.
