Interview Transcript (slightly modified for readability)
“The ideal stewardship team would certainly need to be interdisciplinary, so including pharmacist leaders, physician leaders, focusing on folks from your microbiology lab—they can definitely not be forgotten—your lab is a key partner in an effective stewardship team, [and being] partners with infection prevention. I would also argue that your executive administration should be a part of your stewardship team because you really need that leadership support and buy-in to have an effective program. So, having them be actively engaged in your team I think is important as well.”
