Interview transcript: (modified slightly for readability)
We're really excited to announce this formal partnership where SIDP [Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists] is becoming a partner organization for IDWeek 2020. We've been working closely with all the organizations, IDSA [Infectious Diseases Society of America], SHEA [Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America], HIVMA [the HIV Medicine Association] and PIDS [the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society] for the last few years really strengthening our relationship. Really this is formalizing what's really been going on for a long time, where our profession is working with our colleagues in other disciplines to really enhance the way that we manage patients. So, we're really excited to be able to represent our members that go across different disciplines and really look to enhance the program work with the IDSA, SHEA, PIDS, HIVMA, all of the groups, to formalize our relationship with them.
