Interview Transcript (slightly modified for readability)
“I think in the past decade, throughout the United States, what has happened is [that] not only have the numbers of Lyme cases increased in areas where they were before, but now we’re seeing a spread (the tick, I believe, is spreading) into other areas where we didn’t see it before.
In fact, a 2015 study has shown that the tick that causes Lyme, is actually now found in 50% of the counties in the United States. That’s very significant, and that’s only the ones where they happen to have someone doing work to find out that the ticks are there.”
