A new article on Contagion Live highlights how tele-medicine could be a major asset in fighting COVID-19. The practice may allow clinicians to screen more patients and direct them for testing if necessary, while minimizing initial risk for health care workers.

We also now have new information about the first known case of person to person transmission in the United States, based on a study detailing that none of the 347 patient contacts health officials traced in the aftermath tested positive for the virus.

More has also emerged about pediatric cases of COVID-19, after a new study on the lessened severity among children in COVID19 cases seen thus far.
